Spring 2008:
Introduction
It is a great time in the High Concept Design & Media studios!
We have all been so busy, but loving the work. There is something absolutely electric about working with clients that “get it”; and that is what we are doing these days. The clients and projects we have been involved with recognize the value of integrating a professional media company early in the development process to help them leverage their vision in all aspects of the marketing process – the results have been quick, accurate 2D and 3D visualizations to aid in the sales and marketing of the project early in the lifecycle of the project.
The nice thing about us folks here at High Concept is that we don’t keep our knowledge secret -- we are willing to share what we know!
Announcing High Concept’s 2008 Architectural Technology Summit:
ON THE SAME PAGE (In a Paperless World)
The purpose of this event will be to expose BC architectural and interior design firms to the variety of technologies that are available today that will significantly impact your ability to communicate your design, collaborate with consultants and win more (and better) business! The secret is some of these technologies are free and some you may already own!
This free seminar will feature a complimentary breakfast, exciting guests, valuable software giveaways, and a Q & A roundtable with some of Western Canada’s leading visionaries regarding architectural technologies.
This is an Architectural Institute of British Columbia Continuing Education System (AIBC CES) event and learning units will be available.
Featuring Special Guest: Scott Onstott
International author and visualization expert Scott Onstott presents an abbreviated version of his acclaimed seminar: "Architectural Visualization with Photoshop CS3 Extended.”
The summit will be from 8:30AM to 11:30AM on Thursday, March 27, 2008.

Seating is limited and will be filled on a first come, first-serve basis – This is offered as an AIBC learning event and non-members will be allowed only if accompanied by a current AIBC member.
I will be providing an abridged version of my portion of the summit for the Vancouver Island chapter of the AIBC on February 27, 2008 – so if you live on the island and can’t join us here for our event I hope to see you there – for registration information click here.
So be warned, we are out there in the world mixing among you! We don’t bite, so come by and say hello. Dan McKinnon
