Spring 2008:
Common Ground
Daniel McKinnon I grew up with the big city aspirations in a small town of New Brunswick. I have worked as a professional cartoonist, an emergency medical technician, a graphic artist, a theatre manager, a salesperson – all of it developed the skills I would need to be a business owner.
After 17 years working in the US, I returned to Canada and during the better part of the past decade I have worked with the western Canadian architectural, engineering and construction industries developing workable workflow solutions.
Spending so much time getting to know my customers and their concerns, I recognized a gap in the current processes as they searched for ways to accurately and efficiently communicate their designs with their consultants, their clients, and marketing teams.
My role with High Concept Design & Media Services is to serve as the primary contact person who works as a consultant to our clients. I now serve as an advisor, partner, designer, copywriter, teacher, manager and technician as I play my part in the process by orchestrating creative custom solutions to bring our clients visions to reality.
